    That did it - thank you very much. Now I see the video and click play - the movies seems to load but never plays in FF or Opera (of course it plays in IE). Should I make the page cachable or does that matter? Here’s the page http://www.massflyfishing.com/cms/index.php?id=57 and here’s the Flash
     <object width="400" height="300"><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true" /><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always" /><param name="movie" value="http://vimeo.com/moogaloop.swf?clip_id=5327229&server=vimeo.com&show_title=1&show_byline=1&show_portrait=0&color=&fullscreen=1" /><embed src="http://vimeo.com/moogaloop.swf?clip_id=5327229&server=vimeo.com&show_title=1&show_byline=1&show_portrait=0&color=&fullscreen=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowscriptaccess="always" width="400" height="300"></embed></object><p><a href="http://vimeo.com/5327229">ALL RISE</a> from <a href="http://vimeo.com/user1430569">bryan huskey</a> on <a href="http://vimeo.com">Vimeo</a>.</p>

      I must be losing my mind. I loaded the Flash, checked on my laptop(the computer I’m working from) in IE, FF and Opera. It didn’t work except IE. Then I checked on my desktop(I’m not working on that computer) and it worked in all 3 browsers - where am I going wrong

        Browser cache!?

        I would use this:
        <object type="application/x-shockwave-flash"
        data="http://vimeo.com/moogaloop.swf?clip_id=5327229&server=vimeo.com&show_title=1&show_byline=1&show_portrait=0&color=&fullscreen=1"
        width="400" height="300">
        <param name="movie"
        value="http://vimeo.com/moogaloop.swf?clip_id=5327229&server=vimeo.com&show_title=1&show_byline=1&show_portrait=0&color=&fullscreen=1" />
        <param name="allowfullscreen" value="true" />
        <param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always" />
        </object>

          Browser cache!?
          In the page settings there’s a tick box for ’Cacheable’. I wasn’t sure if this affected the video or not

            That has nothing to do with your browser’s cache. Sometimes your browser will cache javascript, and if you change the javascript file on the server your browser will still just grab its old copy from its cache.

            The checkbox you referred to is for the MODx page cache; instead of generating the page from the document and its template on every request, it will get the (almost) finished page from the cache. It has nothing to do with external .css or .js files, nor does it have any effect whatsoever on how your browser caches images and files.
