sinbad, that came out great. The links with the icons and other styling integrated it well with the manager (much better than my attempts)...it actually looks like real software rolleyes

Sinbad, care to share the details of how you did that. It’s a great functional addition indeed. smiley

@sinbad, That looks awesome. I’ve been wanting a real action screen for modx. Currently you arrive at few actions but it’d be nice to see the ability to send users to a custom actions screen like the one you have built. I agree with rthrash that this could be an excellent ui enhancment be it an addon or the new start screen.

it was simply a matter of getting the links as the wiki article and modifying the <!-- home tab --> section of manager/media/style/MODxLight/welcome.html file. I only trimmed the table and put my stuff in the [+MessageInfo+], that pretty much kept the style consistent with the rest of the manager.

Don’t know if any of you remember, but couple weeks ago I asked about running ditto in the backend which I think can even extend more this ’control panel’. for example my first screenshot up there is for a foxycart site I’m working on, and I’m trying to display important info for the store admin like products that almost running out of inventory. just an idea if anyone thinking about it...
