I have an ok grasp on HTML.. I just don’t code it manually usually.... especially with CSS being a weakness.

But yes... in the last two days I have crash coursed.. and will probably be easily able to do a ground up design within the week (which is good as I am now 2 days behind on 2 other projects)

I am very much a hands on learner.. but I get frustrated at the dearth of info, especially in a case like this where it is probably one small line or lack there of...

And while I am totally jazzed about the potential of MODx... getting coherent documentation on all of it is still like reading a book moths have been at... they always eat the best parts you know! tongue

Have you fixed it? Looks fine to me now in FF3....my bad, it’s still broken.... I think it is about the widths of the columns....lemme investigate further

No...don’t do that!!! THis layout does not need tables. The problem is a conflict with the position absolute and the position relative...I have not looked at the markup so I may be off, but I think you need to wrap the body in a div (or other block tag) and have that be positioned relative and then position absolute inside that wrapping tag.

Once I get some coffee I will take a look and see if I can figure this out...nothing like a puzzle to mend a saturday morning hangover wink

OK...I see the problem...only the left column is included in the #centered parent div. I haven’t found it yet but you must have a closing </div> that is excluding the left and footer divs from the main #centered div so the positioning in those is absolute relative to the page and not relative to the wrapping div.
              ......

OK...I found it. Just above Oobj31 you have an extra </div> that is closing out the wrapper div. Remove the closing </div> and it will snap into place. I could not tell if you need to add a closing </div> at the end to make up for the one that was removed.

Tip: You will be a much happier coder if you indented your markup since it makes it easier to debug closing tags.
Tip2: there are a lot of inline styles that could/should be moved into the style definitions...this will clean up the markup and make it easier to manage.
