I can clearly confirm that some pages load in 10s and other in ms.
Other users are experiencing the same behaviour.

What is interesting is that some pages always load in ~10s. From time to time other pages will load slow but not always.
Do you think that this is a server issue? Would the ID of the document and the cache file have something to do with this?

Any ideas on how to debug?

    Thx

PS: I can send you the links in a private message
I think the pages that take 10s have an uncached snippet on them somewhere, perhaps inside the chunk? Or in the template? Or are they definitely set as cacheable pages when you edit them?

Well, I guess I discovered one problem.

We are doing lots of updates to the website and it seems every 5 minutes a document is saved and the cache is cleared.
I was under the impression that when a page is saved only one cache file is deleted not all. Am I mistaking?

The second problem can be related to the number of entries in the database. If the cache is cleared it can take up to 15 seconds to get the php file. At least that’s what I get in firebug. I am gonna try to see where the delay comes from by adding some timing snippets.

      Thx
