Just now when I tried to load a product into the tab view using the main menu links it first failed to load and then worked the second time I clicked on the same link (as you described in your post earlier). The difference that I noticed was that the first URL I was viewing was at mediashout.com, whereas the second (after clicking once on the main menus) was www.mediashout.com. Those are different domains as far as Ajax is concerned, so that looked to me to be something that needs to be addressed.
I see. I used relative URLs throughout this thing because it was on one of media temple’s gridservers. Wayfinder is populating these links using the [(base_url)] placeholder. Why would base_url sometimes be one domain and other times be another one? I guess this IS still the same issue I was having, only before it was with mediashout.com and s61616.gridserver.com. Crap.
If you make sure that you redirect to a specific domain name in your .htaccess file and clear your MODx cache this should be resolved.
Not sure I follow you here. What should I be redirecting?
