Hi,
i have searched everywhere, but can`t work out a solution to my problem.
I have moved my site from my test server to the real sever, everything works great expect i get a 404 for each page. The urls are written correctly but the pages return as 404`s. Can anyone suggest anything that might be causing this? i don`t even know where to start.

Here go some ideas:
1) make sure to clear the modx cache
2) make sure the site is in "online" status
3) make sure that the ht.access is renamed to .htaccess
thanks, i tried all of those, no luck. I guess its something to do with the way the new server is setup, why is every server so different!
did you moved it on a windows server?
its a lamp server. not sure about mod_Rewrite how do i find out if its enabled?
1. Log into the MODx backend of the site where the problem is
2. Click Reports -> System Info
3. Click the "View" link for phpinfo()
4. Scroll down to "apache"; look in "loaded modules" and make sure mod_rewrite is listed there
Is FURLs turned on in modx? Will the site work without the FURLs (ie: with index.php?id=1)?
the url are getting written correclty its just the pages are not being found.
it works fine with furls off.
