Answered Manager missing resources tree etc.

Hi,

I have some really strange behaviour in manager. Site is working fine, but i can not get anything done in manager. The problems in manager are random. Sometimes it is missing resources tree, sometimes buttons are not working. Sometimes it says site is undefined and so on.

If i clear cache and delete the cache files from server and login the resource tree is there. But immediately when i start using it the strange behaviour starts.

I read that there is other people having similar issues, but no real solution. Anyone any ideas? As my client wants to change CMS and i really would not like to do this.

It could a JavaScript conflict. When some extra loads its JS code, a function or variable could have a collision with the Manager's JS.

Update any extras that have new versions.

If that doesn't fix it, try looking at the site in the dev. panel of Firefox or Chrome (Ctrl-shift-i). The Console tab will show any JS errors and the NetWork tab may show files that are not being found.

I have updated all extras. And i do get many javascript errors.

Is there any ideas what to do with these javascript problems. See attached screenshot.

Any ideas for this. Still having same problems. Unable to update anything on the page. There is altogether 19 javascript errors. Or something.

Check the connectors path and URL in the core/config/config.inc.php file.

500 errors are often due to issues in the .htaccess file. Have you changed it lately, or accidentally uploaded a local version of it?

the same problem occurs when I forget the www before the domain when I log in to the manager

http://example.com/manager -> error
http://www.example.com/manager -> OK

I see that there is some odd lines in my .htaccess file which i have never seen before. Seem that these lines are added by my host and has something to do with cpanel.

RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !^/\.well-known/pki-validation/[A-F0-9]{32}\.txt(?:\ Comodo\ DCV)?$

I have to make some tests what happens if i comment these lines. Will inform if i am succesful with these modifications.

Paths in config.inc.php seems to be ok. No problems there.

No success unocmmenting these lines on htaccess. No success trying to write www. in the beginning.

Still same problems in manager.

Any more good ideas?
