Are you trying from another browser where you're not logged in to the Manager?
I was suggesting that you try NewsPublisher from another browser where you're not logged into the Manager at all.
I think your plugin 9 in the cache may be the old TinyMCE extra. Plugins are cranky about leaving the cache. Try manually deleting all files in the core/cache directory.

At last i've finally got it working. I removed Tinymce again and this time the plugin was also removed. I installed TinymceWrapper and the rte is now displaying in NewsPublisher.
I just have to learn how to configure Tinymce Wrapper now:-)
Thank you so much for your help.

I'm glad you got it sorted.
The original MODX TinyMCE extra has caused plenty of anguish over the years, so you're not alone.

TinymceWrapper: Complete back/frontend content solution.
Harden your MODX site by
passwording your three main folders:
core, manager, connectors and renaming your
assets (thank me later!)
5 ways to sniff / hack your own sites; even with renamed/hidden folders, burst them all up, to see how secure you are not.

Technically, no. If I had said, "using the TinyMCE extra will not lead to happy feelings," it would qualify. Curiously, the lowercase letter i appears as lowercase in the Forum's editor, but appears in a different font when rendered so it is almost identical to a capital I. IiIiIi.
