I’ve done exactly that, and all it says is "Input Type: DropDown List Menu" in the seoOVerride box, with no option of a dropdown list. The TV is obviously attached as it is doing this, but does not seem to be outputting a dropdown list. This is driving me nuts! any help is much appreciated smiley

No, the issue was not solved huh Although I really appreciate you guys taking the time to answer my posts.

Some screenshots would be really helpful as am starting to wonder if I am missing something really obvious here. I would really appreciate it someone could add some screenshots and maybe a brief step by step guide how to do this.

Thank you so so much anyone who does do this for me! smiley

@happyavocado l - I suggest that you post here the screenshots of how you have done it. That way, it will be easier to spot mistakes if there are any...

            Here are screenshots.
            (I’m using Japanese language file.)

            One is seoOverride TV setting.
The other is TV input field of one document.

Thank you so much! I was putting one of the variables in to the wrong box. I’ve appended extension, but unfortunately it hasn’t fixed my original issue, which is the fact that my FURLs are still not working properly - they work on a parent, until a child is added to that parent (it changes from www.mysite.com/page.html to www.mysite.com/page - in othyer words, it loses its extension)

I don’t seem to be getitng any further on this usses, despite trying so many things. does anyone have any other suggestions?

UPDATE: My problem is fixed! This did solve it - hooray! Sorry, replied too hastily, hadn’t set mydocument to "publish" before trying the seoOveride out.

Thank you so much for eveyone that has helped me with this issue. A huge thanks to Kongondo and tfkm for your help. I owe you both a drink!

I have been trying to work out my problem with Modx for most of the week and it has been driving me nuts - so so happy to have it sorted! smiley smiley

Oh no, I’m back, with another problem related to the above....

My Friendly URLs are now working nicely, and my parent containers are being outputted correctly with .html suffix present, however, when I inspected the HTML of one of my webpages, links to parents that have children do not have an .html suffix. Links to parents with no children are fine (www.mysite.com/page.html) but links to parents that have children are playing up in the html (eg. www.mysite.com/page/).

                      Help! Why is this happening?
