    Anyone know?

    It would be great to see a definitive answer, for myself and anyone else that comes across this same problem in the future.

    Who’s going to save the day...?! Come on all you Modx experts.... smiley

      Can you please confirm that you have implemented the other part of the solution as recommended in this thread?

            I don’t know where the "Append Extension" bit is though?
            Could someone please attach a screenshot showing me where the "Append Extension" tick box is?
            Open the container document as a editing mode.
            "Append Extension" is one of the dropdown list box TV(seoOverride) setting,
            so you can find it just below the content area.
            If you can not find it, I think seoOverride TV is not attached to the template the container document is using.

              It just says "Input Type: DropDown List Menu" in the seoOVerride box, but there isn’t actually a drop menu with options to choose from. Is this not right?

                I’ve summarised my issue and reposted it in the more suitable forum area on FURLS at http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,4700.240.html

                  Your seoOverride TV is misconfigured.
                  Follow the instructions stated in the source code of SEO Strict URLs plugin.

                  // Input Type: DropDown List Menu
                  // Input Option Values: Disabled==-1||Base Name==0||Append Extension==1||Folder==2
                  // Default Value: -1

                    I still am getting "Input Type: DropDown List Menu" in the seoOVerride box for the container document, but there isn’t actually a drop menu with options to choose from. This is exactly what I have entered:

                    Input Type: DropDown List Menu
                    Input Option Values: Disabled==-1||Base Name==0||Append Extension==1||Folder==2
                    Default Value: -1

                    any other suggestions?

                      No... these text indicates that you have to do 3 things in your TV settings.

                      1. You have to select "DropDown List Menu" from the list box of input type.
                      2. You have to put this line "Disabled==-1||Base Name==0||Append Extension==1||Folder==2" in the input option text box.
                      3. You have to put "-1" in the default value text box.

                      and save the TV setting.
