Small snippet (widget): Instagram Latest Posts

Just wanted to let all of you know that currently I'm working on the update. I believe the code can be fixed to follow the recent changes on Instagram so the application will work the same like before.

I've updated the snippet. Most likely your websites should work fine with the updated code. I tried to leave all parameters the same as much as possible. Two parameters were removed at all: imageQuality and videoQuality because only one file can be returned from Instagram now. I don't think it should create any issues in your code. Anyway I will appreciate any feedback.

I'm going to publish the updated code in MODX repository as well. However it will take some time so I'd recommend just to copy/paste the updated code in your websites.

Couldn't get it working and then removed the imageQuality and videoQuality from my call and it works fine.

Just a question: What is in this new situation the maximum number of items we can retrieve?

Currently only 12 items can be returned from Instagram. Please check this https://github.com/igorsuhinin/modx-instagram-latest-posts/issues/6#issuecomment-344331890. As I wrote there is some workaround which can be used to get many older posts (I believe there is no limit at all but not sure). However it's a workaround and I can't guarantee that it will work in the future without any problem. Moreover I'm not sure if it violates Instagram ToS. Anyway the current version is also some sort of workaround as well So I could probably release the new version later as a fully new extra or just create a new major version 2.0 which won't probably be compatible with the current release. I haven't decided yet, it just exceeds my current needs so if I get many requests from community then I will think about it in more details

I have started getting a parsing error on the sites that i have the InstagramLatestPosts extra installed.
It simply display: The JSON parsing failed.
Any idea what could be causing this?

Running 1.9.0 and still get this Error: The remote loading of JSON content failed. Please check if your account name is correct.
