    Just to update:

I've received the email and I've tested it via emailonacid and can confirm that images aren't displaying for any browser/client/device. I've also tried to manually test the code to ensure clients aren't stripping it out due the domain name, off site linking etc and it does work fine.

Not sure what to suggest next ? I'll run a quick test on my MODX to see if I can replicate the issue.

The greatest compliment you can give back to us, is to spend a few seconds leaving a rating at our trustpilot: https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/alienbuild.uk about the service we provided. We always drop mention of services offered by businesses we've worked with in the past to those of interest.

I've just used your email chunk tpl and setup a form on my own testing environment and it works fine.

Ok so there must be something strange going on in my server or in my smtp.
I'll investigate and write here if i find something, maybe it can help others.

EDIT: I've done some testing and actually found out that the smtp is in some blacklists for spam, tried changing it in modx and it worked, so the problem was that the message wasn't seen has spam but the image did (it never happened to me but it seems possible). i'll mark this message as solution.

Thanks to everyone! [ed. note: gira93 last edited this post 7 years, 9 months ago.]
