    Hi,

First of all, I'm really clueless here, so please be patient with my noobness.
I have a problem with my modX Evolution site.
It stopped working ages ago because my host upgraded their PHP version and I had a really ancient version of evolution.
This week, I finally uploaded the Evolution 1.1 and ran the installation successfully (at least there were no errors.)
However, if I try to view any of my pages it won't work.
I can log into the manager and look at the control panel with no errors anywhere, but anytime I try to preview any of my pages, I get a slightly more informative error which you can see below.

I tried to preview a page which has nothing except the very basic template with [*content*] in it
From my googling, I guess I must have some kind of permissions problem, but I don't know what or where.

    Any ideas?
    Thanks,
    Anne-Marie

      Clear your paths.

Config > Last 2 tabs there you can reset them.

I tried it now, and saved after each time, but it didn't seem to help. sad
        Any other thoughts?

Just wonder, did you use the installer? mysite.com/install
Maybe the update didn't go as planned and not all files where uploaded with FTP?

If you can give me access (PM) to the site manager I can have a look.

What happens when you disable the Quick ManagerManager plugin

Seems there is an error; Current Plugin Quick ManagerManager(OnWebPagePrerender)

Ooh, I think you're on the right path.
When I try to enter the plug-in settings in order to disable it, it gets stuck loading and never enters.
Is there some other way to disable it other than clicking on it and checking the checkbox?

Ah, by the way, yes, I did use the installer. Just to be extra sure, I used it with advanced mode and double-checked all the mySQL settings (collation, etc..)
The installer did show a success message.

Yes, go to phpmyadmin and look for table: modx_site_plugins

                  Quick Manager+
In column "disabled" set 0 to 1

Or do you have a custom plugin Quick ManagerManager?
                  Maybe 2 are loaded?

There is no plugin, snippet or module called "Quick ManagerManager"

That was a hack - i've been thinking about this for a couple of days and had a small brainstorm this morning

Take a look here and here

Thank you, that's brilliant. I guess it's good that the site stopped working.
I'll try to follow the instructions in the posts and try to remove that thing and try to prevent it from happening again.
