    Working beautifully thanks Menno.

    A question about top-bar...

How to make top level items (with dropdown) 'null links'?

i.e So those top level pages can't be navigated to on large screens.

      I am a ModX novice.
      I installed a clean ModX 2.2.10-pl and flexibility4-1.1.1-pl.
      I am getting an error:

      Unexpected token <:
      Internal Server Error

Question is: What packages should be installed?
Flexibility 4 is still "Not Installed" in package management.
What is installed is : ace, archivist, Articles, formit, gallery, getpage, get resources, if, migx, phpthumbsup, quip, simplesearch, switch, taglister and wayfinder.
      • Thank you for your feedback, could you tell me where you install MODX and Flexibility?
Local computer (WAMP XAMP) Or on hosting?

My experience is that sometimes it can take up to three goes to install properly depending on the host - i.e. don't do anything different - just try installing a couple more times.

I don't think it is a problem with Flexibility 4 but with one of the accompanying packages.

Check your hosting requirements are met - especially for phpthumbsup

              That kind of worked.
Install was hanging at TinyMCE. Ran it a couple of times and still hanging around the same place, so figured it must be server related (timeout?).
Downloaded TinyMCE "manually" and installed (twice before no error), tried Flexibility install again and ended properly.

NB the question was what are the accompanying packages? Anyhoo thanks, I guess I am now an experienced novice smiley

You could be on one of their older hosting packages in which case you might struggle on an on-going basis. If that's the case think about getting them to upgrade you provided it doesn't affect anything else you're running on your server of course.

I know we're a bit off topic but it might just help you.

                  EDIT:

Seems to have been a bad installation. I've had to remove a couple of times and reinstall. [ed. note: x0149128 last edited this post 10 years, 4 months ago.]

I've run into a problem with PHPthumbsUp and Flexibility4. I'm now getting broken images in the orbit slider and gallery. I've compared this installation against another very similar one and can't see any differences, yet one is working and the other isn't.

Image paths are looking like this in both cases:

                      /phpthumbsup/w/635/h/383/src/assets/images/slider02.jpg

But in the latest installation there are no files in core/cache/phpthumbsup

I've tried various permissions but not getting anywhere.

Any help would be much appreciated
