I would suggest to set your plugin folder under the assets/libs/plugins/
There is the test/ plugin, if you want to try it.
I’m also developing the star rating plugin (based on YUI), and the facebook like button plugin.

Ah, I should have known
there is a slight bug in installer, related to the folder change in assets/libs/viewers/ folder.
Open your Menu > Viewers, click the viewers one by one, check the folder paths.
Change if the path is wrong.
eg:
assets/libs/highslide/... => assets/libs/viewers/highslide/...
Edit: the package file has been updated.

I noticed that the highslide files are included in a few other viewers (slimbox, slimbox2; is this correct?
assets/libs/viewers/slimbox-1.71/css/slimbox.css
| assets/libs/viewers/highslide/highslide.css
assets/libs/viewers/slimbox-1.71/js/mootools.js
| assets/libs/viewers/slimbox-1.71/js/slimbox.js
| assets/libs/highslide/highslide-iframe.js
And sometimes the jquery library itself is loaded from assets/libs/jquery and sometimes from googleapis and sometimes not loaded at all (not referring to the ones that use prototype).

yes, that’s right.

exclude the jquery folder, because it’s a framework that is shared among the viewers.

Sorry, having trouble with a fresh install (no previous versions) on my local for testing...
All appears to install correctly: install dir has been removed, assets/images/gallery has been created and populated with several test images, but a simple call [!easy2!] returns nothing.
System Events is reporting: syntax error, unexpected ’<’
Edit: oops, just realized I had to upload photos through the module, not independently...it’s working fine now.
You can upload images independently; you just have to run a sync in the module.

OK thanks for info about sync. Another question, Susan, maybe you can answer.
I see the thumbnail image OK on my test page, but clicking the thumb results in an endless loading icon--the larger image does not appear. Ideas?
edit: fixed now--I missed the earlier install bug a few comments above.

I hate to ask this basic question, but how does one get an image’s description to appear in the default template?
I edited my image and added a description, but when clicking the thumb, the enlargement only shows image name and no description. I don’t see a parameter for description in the documentation.
each of viewers (javascript image pop-up) has its own way to show description (or caption, you may say).
what is your snippet call?
