There aren’t so many downloads of frontpage, so no wonder nobody complains ;-)
The author of FrontPage (shamblett) does excellent work, so I expect it would be very solid. I haven’t had time to look at it.

You’re right! He did/does an excellent work with developping this tool! Unfortunately there are severe problems with the new revo version now. Still searching for the reason...
And hoping for Steve to come back from holidays soon ;-)

Hi!
Same problem with your NewsPublisher on 2.1.2! Button shows up, but then I get an error message.... oh! on one page it works! strange. will go on with testing ;-)
Greetings!
Susanne
Very strange: logged in via the login-Addon, can do updates on one document, but on the other I get this message: "Entschuldigung . . . Es gab (mindestens) ein Problem beim Erstellen des Formulars:Sie haben nicht die nötigen Rechte, um Ressourcen mit MODx-Tags zu bearbeiten." - means: sorry... there is at least one problem with processing the form: you do not have the necessary rights to update resources with modx-tags.
Any idea what I am doing wrong?

Yes, the user you’re logged in as doesn’t have the necessary permissions to edit and or save the document. The fact that it works on one resource suggests that that resource is in a resource group that the user has proper rights to. If you put the other resources in that group, or give the user the same rights to the group the other resources are in, that should fix it.

Hi!
The developper of frontpage is in holidays, he thinks that it might be a javascript problem. Do you have already checked the error log in modx or in chrome? I didn’t checked it yet...
Greetings to Austria
Susanne
Checking for $_SESSION[’webValidated’] is deprecated code and no longer supported in MODX Revolution 2.1.x. Your solution is correct.
