A loose list of ideas for backend improvement in Revo

What happened to the color picker for text in the tinymce for modx revo, the latest version as of may 2nd...now a client will have to click edit style,,,and open another window, then hit another tab, then choose color and open another window, just to change a color? And is it just me, or do 90 percent of the apps for this thing dont work that people submit,,,I vote for everyone working dev side to have them approved, and showcase working samples somewhere before they are available for general download.
