I think in short terms: noone of those systems has been so fast to learn and to take advantage of like MODx. They are all 1) Too much complex to be useful to a non programmer (drupal, plone) or 2) too fixed on their shape (joomla, xoops, e107).
So, the only thing is the larger user base. Don’t worry, we all know you’re doing a very good job.
Thanks
PS: Expect a donation. If they don’t get some money to you, I’ll do. I think you deserve it anyway. I want you to continue work on MODx.

It’s a shame MODx didn’t make it to the voting part, it’s the best CMS/CMF I’ve ever used and deserved to at least have a go at voting.
I’ve tried all of the CMSes that made it so far, and none of them were what I was looking for, mainly due to being too clunky/bloated or difficult to use. The only thing they have on MODx is the fact that they have a bajillion users, which I’m sure will change in the near future (looking at the BETA of MODx, I can see tons of people being drawn in by it’s flexibility -- and it’s only a BETA!
). Go MODx team!
Anyways, I’ll donate to MODx as well at some point. It may not be 8000 or so $, but it’s something!
Mr. Madison, what you’ve just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
