Help! I’m a novice attempting to add content to my website. No matter what I choose from the
format box, the spacing doesn’t come out right on the actual website. My website is: www.mocharbonneau.com.
The section I’m working in is "Money Mastery." The info I added is under "Workshop Schedule & Descriptions."
If you look at the site, the problem will be apparent. I’ve tried every option in the "format" box and nothing
works. I would so much appreciate someone’s help. Maureen

I don’t know where you got all those extra tags from, this is a bit cleaner and will give you a starting point.

        David,

Thanks for your reply. It’s the section where I will be changing workshop info that I’m having problems with. What would I enter
before and after the following (using this as an example):

September 18, 2008: Take Charge of Your Finances - Basic

Learn to manage your checkbook, use our MMML forms to track income and cash spending, and organize your financial data. What you learn here lays a foundation for good money management. You’ll see benefits in every area of your life.

        Many thanks. Maureen

If your using the RTE then just lay it out how you want it to appear on the site.

If after doing that it doesnt appear right edit the page again and change the RTE to "none", then take out or add any &nbsp ( that creates a space ) 0r any "<p>&nbsp</p>" (that starts a new paragraph).

After a little playing you will ger it right.

BTW this is a quick fix untill someone els comes up with something better tongue

            @Maureen,

Did you by any chance copy and paste the text on that page from a word processor like Word? That has been known to insert "some hidden elements in your code". Anyway, seems like you have lots of non-breaking space (&nbsp) in your code. Do you know how to view the code? (i.e., edit the html itself)

            Nice site, btw smiley

Thanks, Everyone. I was able to e-mail the website designer (he’s in Slovakia, I’m in the U.S.) and he fixed the text
for me. Used the Unordered List tool from the toolbox. Said never to use the space key. I’ll print out the replies
I received here in case I have another problem. I appreciate your responses. Maureen

Ah...the space bar key was inserting all those non-breaking spaces. Glad you had it sorted out grin
