modx collation change

For some reason my database has been setup using latin1_swedish_ci but I need it to be utf8_general_ci I’m using a local lamp install of apache/unix.

I have updated most of the tables to utf8 but when I try and update the table modx_site_content pagetitle, description and content fields I get an error



I need to use russian and chinese, but the characters are all wrong, anyone know how to get round/fix this
