Hi all, i'm new here, never used MODx in my life, iv'e read and seen how powerful it can be, i'm used to using wordpress, prestashop and other cms, however i'd like to use this, mainly because a few sites i've came across (i run a print shop, our rival shops have great websites, with matrix grids etc) our rival sites use MODx, i'd like to get on the bandwagon, but not sure how or what to do.
I've downloaded Revolution i believe, which is the free installable (again i may be wrong please correct me) - However i'm finding it hard to find any websites on the showcase MODx has that has a shop / ecommerce on it? I've done some looking around and found BLUcart, but not sure if thats best to use etc?
Any information or a point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
Sorry if this is in the wrong forum/thread also.

No worries! If you have more questions, just come back, the community is pretty good to support people!
MODX itself is a very basic CMS/framework. Make sure you are using the latest version, which is now 2.5.0-pl.
It's also a good idea to join the Slack team for real-time conversation with developers and other community members

There are several repositories of free and commercial add-ons to add features. The modstore.pro repository should not be overlooked because it's from the Russian MODX community, Google Translate does a reasonable job of translating the pages.

ModMore is working on a new e-commerce package called "Commerce", which is a separate project from SimpleCart.
