    Hi,
Could Migxdb be used to create a website directory that lists local businesses with the ability for users to add/edit their own information via front-end manager pages (essentially the user would register and upon account validation they would be able to edit their own information)?
Or is there a better way to achieve this?
    Thanks for any pointers
    Janice

Yes - I did something like that for a client. You can add items to the Migxdb table the same as any other database table.

All you need is a snippet that displays a form when the user logs in that:

      • Checks the users permissions
      • Check if the user has already entered their business information.
      • If there is information load that into a form - if not show a blank form

When the form is submitted you need to:

      • Validate the inputs
      • Save the information back the the table

Of course you don't have to use Migxdb - you can also enter the information in the Users Extended fields.
