Formit converts MIGX data doublequotes to "e; while saving

Hello,

I created a frontend page to edit a resource using formit and formit2resource. Every field is updated except MIGX tv.

I have a hidden field which collects all data in MIGX format.

Hidden field value is as below.

[{"MIGX_id":"1","fname":"Richa","lname":"Sinha","city":"Raipur","state":"CH"}]

On submit the database shows the following.

[{&quote;MIGX_id&quote;:&quote;1&quote;,&quote;fname&quote;:&quote;Richa&quote;,&quote;lname&quote;:&quote;Sinha&quote;,&quote;city&quote;:&quote;Raipur&quote;,&quote;state&quote;:&quote;CH&quote;}]

I am not sure how to fix it. Can anyone help please.

All FormIt fields are handled by htmlspecialchars since version 2.2.9 to prevent XSS vulnerabilities.

So you have to exclude that field from this rule by adding the allowSpecialChars 'validator' to this or by translating the posted data back in formit2resource.
