List of correct file-/folder-permissions in MODx Revolution?

Hi,
I just had an issue with incorrect file-permissions (view posting). I solved it by setting the manager-directory to 777. I don't know if this is secure or right.

What would be very helpful for me was a list of file-permissions. I find something here and there, but I am no pro - so "make directory xy writeable" is not precise enough for me.

Is there a list which permissions to change?

I don't pretend to have the answer, but I think the better idea would be to back up everything into a ZIP archive and do a fresh install of MODX. ZIP doesn't store any file/folder permissions so you'll only have to unzip it after all. Don't forget to back up you database as well.
