I have a 403 issue I'm trying to resolve after moving a site from a local to live server.

The site in question is on a subdomain. FURLs function everywhere after editing htaccess. (I was using FURLs on the local version of the site, turned them off before migrating, and then reverted the setting to 'Yes' post-migration).

I have a 403 error when trying to load the homepage only -- all other pages are accessible from the front end. In addition, I have a 403 error when trying to access a particular resource via the manager. I can access / edit all site resources and elements save this single resource (which is used to set global site settings like footer content). Very strange.

    My htaccess:

    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteBase /stage

    RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^stage\.naturalapertures\.com$ [OR]
    RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www\.stage\.naturalapertures\.com$
    RewriteRule ^/?$ "http\:\/\/www\.naturalapertures\.com\/stage" [R=301,L]
    # The Friendly URLs part
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
    RewriteRule ^(.*)$ index.php?q=$1 [L,QSA]

    Ideas are appreciated.

I would run the refresh URIs function first. Then hard-refresh the manager or clear browser cache.

A 403 is forbidden, so it's probably sent by MODX.

Is the site set to live? Are you a sudo user? Is the <base> tag in your templates set correctly?

        It was an htaccess issue.
