    Hi

I have been asked to modify a Modx site developed by someone else. I usually prefer to place Edit Content and Template Variable buttons on the front end so that the client can easily modify areas of their site. However the site that I am trying to modify does not display the buttons on the front end even though the template call is [*#content*].

Anyone got any idea why this doesn’t display the buttons?

    Cheers

Are the QuickEdit plugin and Module enabled?

        Cheers bunk58

I have checked in the Manage Modules tab and Quick Edit is not listed. I have created the module by copying the code from a site that I know works. I have also copied the Plug in Code for Quick Edit.

However I still cannit get the buttons to appear - Any ideas?

        Thanks

Did you upload the quick_edit folder to the assets/modules? Also make sure that you have the correct plug-in events selected.
