Answered Unable to see filesystem

    I can't view the filesystem in manager. There is a right arrow next to it which when I click does't bring a drop down of the system it just disappears and no files are shown.

    I've created a new media source but can't see the files in that either.

    How do I get it so that I can view the files?

      What is your user's group? Do you have permissions to view files in the Manager?

        I haven't set up any users group yet, just using the administrator for now.

          Under media source I have Administrator, minimum role member, policy media source admin.

          Which I'm assuming is the default?

            Has something changed about the server paths? Check to make sure the paths set in config.inc.php are correct.

              Funny you should say that, I have contacted our server provider and they have changed their servers. I suggested they needed to install mbstring. They have enabled this and recompiled php and now all works!
