Show summary / introtext only on specicific templates.

Hi all,

I'm wondering if it's possible to show the field "Summary (introtext)" only on specific templates in the manager.

I know that I can assign TVs to specific templates but how can I do this with the default fields?

I'm thankful for any hint!

You can add them just as you do with your normal TVs

Simply add the summary to the template you want to add it to by adding:

Perhaps I was not clear enough, where I wanne to show/hide the field. Please see the screenshot.

Ah ok, that's something completely different

You have to modify / customise the manager, you can read more here

1. Go to Manager Customiziation in the tools menu (the gear icon on the right).
2. Create a new Profile.
3. Right-click on your new Profile and Edit it.
4. Create a new Set
5. Choose Create Resource from the Action drop-down, and choose a template for hiding.
6. Right-click on then new Set and Edit it.
7. Scroll down and clear the checkbox for the introtext field.

Repeat steps 4-7 for each template where you want it hidden.

Repeat steps 4-7 again for the Update Resource action, for each template where you want it hidden.
