Please recommend a lightbox type plugin

I've been using Magnific-popup on one of my Modx sites to display an image gallery with lightbox functionality. However, Magnific-popup seems to work erratically. I have no idea why but sometimes it works, other times, it just displays the href image in a new window and other times, clicking on the thumbnail does nothing.

So I'm hoping there's a native Modx plug in that is easy to implement and provides the same functionality. I did build my own Modx site but I am not super technical. Just enough to be dangerous. My server is using MODX Revolution 2.3.1-pl. I'm looking for something that is well documented with sample pages.

Any pointers are appreciated.

I think the most popular in Colorbox.
And you don't need any special integration with MODX.
