Manager fileds not working

Hi,

I have an installation which isn't allowing me to elect any fields - e.g. I can't edit the pagetitle, introtext, content etc - if I click the field, it doesn't become focused on.

I've tried re-uploading the original Modx files in case something had gone corrupt, but still no joy.

If I tab through the fields, i can get to them to edit them - but it's not ideal!!

Any ideas?

Also, I have tried various browser etc to rule that out, but no joy.
Could it have something to do with the host itself, as it;s not my usual choice (the client had already set up the hosting with 123reg.)

Update: I tried disabling Extra one by one, and found that by disabling SEO Tab, the manager now works fine - but I really want to use this extra!
I've used it on many sites in the past, and never an issue - can anyone shed any light on this? Is it a known issue?

i have rerun the Modx setup installation, just in case, and have replaced all the Modx files - still an issue though! Could it be down to the hosting platform itself?

have you tried manually deleting everything in the core/cache folder, and clear your cache on your local machine. if that doesnt work then it sounds like that it could be a permission issue writing to the database...

Yes I tried that - no joy.
I'm moving the site to a subdomain to see if installing it into a fresh installation will help. PThumb wasn't working either, so seems to be a multitude of small issues going on.

OK so I installed a fresh copy of Modx into a subdomain for testing.
Then I uploaded my assets folder, and imported my database, then ran the setup - but now I get this error:

Fatal error: Call to a member function parseProperties() on a non-object in /path-to-site/modelement.class.php on line 536

I'm baffled!!

OK - but I cannot login to the new installation to check. I'm not suing any untested extras - just ones I use on practically every site.

UPDATE - So i moved my site to a totally new server, just to eliminate the possibility that it's the host which is the problem.
After installing the files, the front end and manager are both blank white pages.
In the error log I have this:

Any ideas?
I feel this site is doomed - it's not working right, and i can't move it either!!
