Wayfinder Output/Absolute Link

I have used an API call to generate a Wayfinder menu in an external application:

include_once($path.’modxapi.php’);

$modx = new MODxAPI();
// connect to db and load settings
$modx->connect();
$modx->getSettings();

$nav.= $modx->runSnippet(’Wayfinder’, array(’startId’ => ’0’, ’level’ => ’1’));
echo $nav;[/shadow]

It is working great except that it appears links generated by Wayfinder are relative links so that the links in another directory now reflect that directory path: http://www.site.com/newdirectory/link.htm as opposed to http://www.site.com/link.htm.

Does anyone have any suggestion as to how best to address this?

No, that didn’t work. I also tried to modify that line in the wayfinder.inc.php file to:

$this->_templates[$n] = ’<li[+wf.id+][+wf.classes+]><a href="http://www.mysite.com[+wf.link+]" title="[+wf.title+]" [+wf.attributes+]>[+wf.linktext+]</a>[+wf.wrapper+]</li>’;

This didn’t work either, I ended up with:

http://www.mysite.com/../http://www.mysite.com/newdirectory/page.htm

do you have a <base> tag set?

I placed one with no change.

Well, I guess I was defeated on this one. I was able to use the Alternative method described here: http://wiki.modxcms.com/index.php/MODx_site_menu_in_external_PHP_app to meet my needs.
