I'm having a bit of a problem I'm hoping someone can help me with. I've tried searching the forums, but can't quite find anything similar.
I have a site I have redone in MODX Revolution (2.42) using friendly urls, and it is working fine. I am having some problems creating 301 redirects for some old pages that were written in cold fusion and had url parameters. There are only about 15 or 20 of these old pages, so I have no need for fancy rules trying to parse the old parameters and match it with something in the site. I could just individually rewrite pages on a one to one basis. So, for example, if I had a page that had formerly been:
examplesite.com/folder/file.cfm?param=1
and I wanted to permanently redirect it to:
examplesite.com/folder/friendlyurl.html (the new name of the page)
how could I accomplish this with rules in .htaccess file. I've tried things from numerous examples, but I think somehow the friendly url rules are interfering with the other rewrite? Has anyone else already solved a problem like this. Any help or a pointer to a resource that may help me figure it out would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Rico
