Hey guys...I hope this is being posted in the correct place but here goes...
(Admins feel free to move this topic somewhere more appropriate if this is the case)
So I started building a website for a client a while ago...like months ago...the guy I work for is a designer so I'm essentially working for his client. Long story short his client couldn't pay him or something like that and development of the site haulted despite the fact the site was 99% complete.
Now, months later I guess the client has had some money come in because I have been asked to resume work on the site.
My problem is that randomly the site seems to be denying itself resources?
In chrome I get this error in the console:
Failed to load resource: net::ERR_INSECURE_RESPONSE
https://www.wheeldeal.co.nz/assets/css/bootstrap.min.css
...this is for everything...CSS, Javascript, images...evrything...
It seems that it is trying to get it all through https and I dont need it to and have no idea why it is doing this?
I have googled the problem a bit and it seems it might have something to do with .htaccess but I just have the standard .htaccess file that comes with modx...the only things that arent commented out in the htaccess file are the following:
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ index.php?q=$1 [L,QSA]
Apart from that I was wondering if there was a setting in the manager of MODx that might be causing this?

Take a look for yourself and you should be having the same problem...could it possibly be the host at all?
