Switching MODX manager to https - lose site tree and other navigation

I have a revo 2.4.2 site that I just put an ssl cert on specifically to harden the manager.

However, when I login to the manger via https, the MODX tree is missing and about half of the top navigation does not work.

The console also throws 10-12 errors like: "Blocked loading mixed active content ..." and a bunch of undefined errors I assume because other files are not loading.

If I simply switch to http or login with http, the MODX manager works flawlessly.

Is there some config file I need to edit?
