I have created MIGx CMPs to manage various custom tables. When paging through these tables the CMP hangs when it encounters a page with an entry containing foreign accents such as
Céréales, pois, haricots, soja, mais, sarrasin et mélanges de semences des céréales.
The collation for the field is "latin1_swedish_ci" and the server connection collation is uft8_general_ci.
Is there a setting in the MIGx CMP configuration or elsewhere to solve this problem?
Give a man the answer, and he’ll only have a temporary solution. Teach him the principles that led you to that answer, and he will be able to create his own solutions in the future.
you should have everything the same collation (utf8_general_ci)

Thanks once again Bruno. I can't say I understand collation settings but it works and that is a start.
