I changed my administrator status and now I can't change it back

I know it wasn’t very smart of me, but I changed my user account on my CMS to a user category I had created where users can add pages and edit them, but not mess with any of the templates, TV’s or chunks. So now my website has no administrator, and I have essentially locked myself out of certain abilities!

I guess in the back of my mind I expected MODx to refuse to take away my administrative status, but it went along with it, and here I am!

So, I guess my question is: Is there any way I can become administrator once again? Or is my website doomed to float henceforth without any updates to its template?

I think you should be able to resolve this if you have access to your database, say using phpMyAdmin. Have read this somewhere but can’t now find the link.... Am sure you’ll get a better answer soon

IIRC, The modx_manager_users table should have you as ID 1 and the modx_user_roles table should have a user with that ID with a 1 in all the field from "frames" onward.
