I’m on Linux/Apache/MySQL running MODx 0.9.6.1p2.
I turned on Friendly URL’s with suffix set to .html and "Use friendly aliases" set to Yes (all other options set to No).
Changed ht.access file to .htaccess, contents are:
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
ewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ /index.php?q=$1 [L,QSA,NC]
It seems to be working in that my URLs do use <alias.html> for the filename (e.g., mysite.com/alias.html) but then it appends a query string. For example:
http://mysite.com/contact.html?phpMyAdmin=8cd485c54bc5d67ec86128b21d3e3ef9
http://mysite.com/approach.html?phpMyAdmin=8cd485c54bc5d67ec86128b21d3e3ef9
Also, index file still shows as index.php (with query string) instead of showing as index.html.
Happens in both Safari and Firefox on the Mac.
Any help would be appreciated...Thanks!
