I have been playing around with this FullCalendar template variable here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xVt8wfIk7qE

What I would like to do is use this calendar in combination with MigX. I have setup my MigX template variable--how would I go about calling the MigX popup on my click event?

I have tried to use Ajax to call the migx.php file, but I get an error that I do not have permission to do so. Can I not call the migx.php file from outside the Migx components? Does anybody know how I can call the MigX popup? [ed. note: kelly8116 last edited this post 10 years, 7 months ago.]

what exactly do you have in mind with the combination of MIGX and the fullcalendar - TV?

Ideally, I think it would be great to set up the template variable so that you can view it on a calendar instead of as a list of items. Everything else would function the same--you would click on a date on the calendar and you would get a MigX popup to enter your information. The start date would prepopulate, but you would have the option to change the start date and add end date, start time, and end time. Then you can add whatever other items that you need (ie. title, description, color, filters, etc).

Instead of looking at a list of events, the client would have a better way to manage their calendar.

What I've tried is to duplicate these files to modify:

        core/components/migx/elements/tv/migx.tpl
        core/components/migx/elements/tv/input/migx.php
        core/components/migx/elements/tv/inputoptions/migx.php

Then in the template file, I setup the calendar scripts. I don't know exactly how to call that MigX popup window from the calendar, however. Additionally, when I try to add the input options php (so that I can setup the json in the template variable setup) I get a 500 error on the resource with that template variable.

Any ideas on how I can utilize the FullCalendar to call the MigX popup?
