I have some old php code that was used as a simple snippet. I need to change it into a transport zip file so I can upload it to package management. Anyone know where/how I can change it to a transport.zip file please?

The simplest method is to use the PackMan extra. It's not very flexible, but if the snippet doesn't change often, it's probably the best option.
MyComponent will also create transport packages and it's useful if your package is complex and often updated, but it's probably overkill for what you want.
