I am trying to create a 'random fact' section on my site. I am sure I saw a post a few years back regarding something similar. Basically the facts would be stored on a page and called to a placeholder on my homepage. I would like it to change each day. Can anyone point me in the right direction please (i.e, best add-on etc)

Thanks andytough, its the sort of thing I am looking for, but I would rather all quotes be on on resource and pull one from there as I may have up to 100 quotes, and I don't want to have to create a separate resource for each one. Bruno17 I have had great results with MIGX so far, with the link mentioned, will the quotes all be drawn from a single ID, rather than multiple ones?

In that linked post is a snippet code (getDayliMIGXrecord). How can I upload the php script as everything is done through the package management now?
I want to create a list of say 100 facts (1-2 lines each) and have MIGX randomly display them each day as a text output. What would I need to put in the formtabs as I am still a little unsure? Thank you for any help

A little lost on this one. I have set up aTV with input option as MIGX and output option as text. I have the follow in the form tabs:

I want the facts to appear on the homepage so I changed the template access to that one ID. When I got on the homepage the TV is there but I cannot enter any values. I tried to add:

into the grid columns in case that was the problem, but I still cannot enter any values into the TV?

Would I just use a simple grid column like the example:
