    Sottwell, You brought up adding the php.info in another post (we were talking about finding full path URLs) and I overlooked your advice for Bobrays script. Had I used this php.info script is would have addressed both my issues. Thanks again for taking the time to repost.

    Here is the information from the Network Solutions shared server:


    So, Network Solutions is running Apache for my clients site. Could they be blocking Rewrite rules or is it likely they just have a strange format to get them to work?

        I called Network Solutions again, and this time the operater told me of course they accept rewrites on Apache (but only after I threatened to leave). When I asked for format he informed me its standard, that their servers do not add any coding for the rewrite to work. But earlier when I added the .htaccess file it did not rewrite.

        So let me try again and see if somehow it works this time.

          I still have an SEO URL problem but now it seems to not be Network Solutions. I will start a different thread.
