    Hello,

    I’m attempting to relocate a MODx site from GoDaddy to DreamHost.

    I’ve gotten as far as installing MODx on DH, but after installation, when trying to go to /manager, I got
    Not Found
    The requested URL /cgi-system/manager/ was not found on this server.
    Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    A few minutes later, strangely, I WAS able to go into manager, TinyMCE does not work, and links are generated as "http://[xxx]/cgi-system/#"

    On searching this forum, I saw people saying "Dreamhost’s servers run PHP as a CGI executable..." etc. But these comments were quite old.

    What does this mean? What do I need to do? Should I ditch Dreamhost?

    Thanks!

      UPDATE:

      Changing the version of PHP to 5.2 seemed to get me up and running.

      But inserting a link via TinyMCE generates links like this:
      <a href="#mce_temp_url#">

      Anyone?
