@MindTattoos: glad it is working. grin

@David: it is my understanding that you could use either option. I am no expert with js stuff and at one point I used this option and it worked so I stuck to it. But I can’t make an argument for which is better, if any. This is where I based my choice on (notice both methods are described).

BTW - what do yo think of jQuery’s new look? I miss the old one, but the new one is good too. They have been getting some resistance from the community, and quickly removed a banner that had a ’rock star’ connotation that did not sit well with the seemingly underground following who prefer the low key look from before. Personally,as long as I can find what I am looking for, it doesn’t really matter what it looks like.

Ok thanks for the explanation smiley

I hadn’t seen the new look, as you say it doesn’t matter - for me jQuery is the tool of choice, but yeah I wonder if a redesign was necessary. I guess they did it because of the new identity (logo and typo) but I think the previous one could have lasted a bit longer. Anyway, they kept it simple and efficient, with a 2.0ish touch... Maybe too much akin to mootools design IMHO, with different color, buttons and footer but the layout is somewhat similar (mootool is even more minimalistic).

About the banner didn’t see that but indeed it seems they’re getting more promotionnal with the logos of big companies using jQuery.

Woo indeed it was a bit radical, though I can’t figure out what’s written "it’s a huh?? rockstar"
