    Hi,

I have noticed an annoying behaviour on both 2.4.0 and 2.4.2 (maybe was present before, can't remember). When I click on an item in manager the tree, the both panels reload and the left hand tree is set back to a different tab. For instance, I click on a .js in "Files" tab, the content is displayed on the right but the tree is set back to "Resources" Tab.
It's not always setting back to the "Resources" tab, in some cases it sets back on "Files" while you are only updating resources, ... I wonder if it's not reseting to the tab that was active when login-in.

This was noticed on both admin and non-admin users

Anyone experienced this ? Any wrong setup on my side ?

I experience this behaviour when I open multiple manager windows in different tabs in the same browser. E.g. when you have the tab "Files"-tree activated in one browser tab, then change to another browser tab with the "Resources"-tree activated and click on a resource, then the tree on the left side in MODX Manager hops to the "Files"-tree.
Not sure if the manager stores the last tree that was activated.

Sorry, complicated description, but I hope you know what I mean.
      • Yes, that is logical behavior, since the state of the Manager is stored in a cookie. Change the state in one tab, and it's changed for all tabs.

Thank you for your answers and sorry to get back so late to this message.

I'm not using several managers in different browser tabs but I'll check the cookie aspect, maybe an impact on the proxy.
