    Hi,

So I'm working on a new site www.communautique.quebec, that will remplace and old site www.communautique.qc.ca.
I will be changing domain (from .qc.ca to .quebec) and repertory (the old site was on Modx, the new site has a new repertory separated and not on Modx)

So my question how in this case, does 301 redirect works ?

See I have try to add this line to the .htaccess (of the old site on Modx), which seems to be the logical solution :
    #Options +FollowSymlinks
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteBase /
    RewriteRule ^nouvelles http://www.communautique.quebec/actualites [R=301,L]

But is does not redirect, still show the old site and not the new.
Am I doing this wrong ?

    Thanks !
