Answered Website with client area

Hi guys. I'm about to start a project, where members/clients should have access to a private area. Each client should only be able to access his own area to read pages or documents and possibly invoices sent to him by the site admin.
Is this possible in ModX? Or should I be looking at a different solution?
Thanks

It is possible. Each user can have his own group and resource group created upon creation of the user, as well as his own directory to hold his files and his own resource to display only his content and links to his files.

There are a number of ways to detect the current user and get his group membership and other details about the current user.

Thanks Sottwell. Where can I learn more about how to achieve this?

Thanks a lot Susan.
I appreciate the links...

RE: justimaging
you can also try TinymceWrapper - it comes preloaded with auto-creation of folders (per username etc).
User need never to ever see the MODX Manager.

It also comes with a snippet TinyMagicPublisher, user can create and edit own resources/files on the fly in the frontend.
TinyMagicPublisher ties into any template you can think of; right now it uses Imogen Theme.
Edit anything on the resource, even auto populated tags from around your site, background images etc.

If things get too technical get help around the corner.
Cheers

You also might want to look into Tickets, which does exactly what you want, the only problem with it is that its documentation is all in Russian. Google translate can help, but it is a little confusing sometimes. The developer is very helpful.
