Catalog with multiple value per TV

My client has many items, with variances (4).

So say Item 1 has 4 options: small medium, large, xlarge. each option has a unique price, then each of those items can have a different color.

I hope this makes sense, and actually it has nothing to do with clothes, just thought it a good example. I’d like to keep it modx, not looking to do a full blown store because there will be no on-line purchases.

You could do this with using an array in the TV field and a snippet to extract the data into placeholders.

For example a tv for for example in the tv you may have:
Then build a snippet that will treat this as an array. Then break it down with a series of foreach() loops to break it down into parts. Then you could take the results and make them into placeholders or simply generate the output directly within the snippet.

Is there anyway you could make a box that you could fill stuff into as well for this?

We have a few variables to work with (this is a plant nursery btw)

Caliper/Size, Root Stock/Bare Root, Price Container, Price

So none of the TV stuff can be static.. each tv just needs 4 boxes i can put whatever i want in. 

The reason I want them to be all in one master tv is if there are 2 sizes i need to have a whole set of tvs for each size.  That means I would have to have 8 tv separate tv’s for possibly two sizes on every product page.  If the 4 sizes then i need to have 12 seperate tvs on each product page.  Combining them down would save a ton of space.

Well Ive done something like this. But the client will have to input it in a certain way like:

Caliper Size||Root Stock||Price Container||Price
Caliper Size||Root Stock||Price Container||Price

Then in the PHx or custom snippet, you break that into an array using explode and set the placeholders or parse them into a chunk. So it can be done, but not as a table with rows per se.
