We're working with Login / Register again - a good plug in. We're aware of how the standard form processes name, password, email etc. and creates the user in modx - User settings with these auto populated. Does Register allow for auto populating other fields already present in the User: manager screen or does this require hacking around with the plugin code, does anyone know?
We'd like to use 'phone number' for example, but don't want this to end up in extended fields.
