I'm not sure I understand the question. If a form field is blank, FormIt should replace the placeholder for that field with nothing. Removing the field would have the same effect.
Maybe what you want is some uses of the If snippet in the Tpl chunk to remove sections of HTML if the placeholder is empty.

Thanks bob. Yep. Want the form fields removed when the user does not complete them. Form has 200 form fields but only want the email tpl to render those that are completed. Think it's some Php if statement logic. But my Php isn't up to it without some clues!

In your case, its not a single field, but the sum of multiple fields, which needs to be checked.
