Hello!
Out of practise, but i've set up a MIGXdb which reads data and TV's fine, outputs them perfectly, however due to the requirements changing, there is a requirement for more that 5 image paths stored in the db so i thought of using a MIGx tv in the database.
Im using Rowboat to output the data from the MIGxdb (which could be the issue) but for the most part of reading static data it works.
Rowboat call:
[[Rowboat?
&table=`my_db_table`
&tpl=`CategoryList`
&where=`{"published":"1","spring":"1" }`
&limit=`100`
&sortBy=`type:ASC`
]]
Template: CategoryList
<div class="item-box">
<a class="cover" title="[[+title]]">
<div class="type">Type: [[+type]]</div>
[[getImageList? &tvname=`Carousel` &tpl=`WatermarkTpl` &limit=`1` ]]
<div class="description">
[[+type_description]]
</div>
<div class="read-more">
More Information >
</div>
</a>
</div>
Template: WatermarkTpl
<img src="[[+image:phpthumbof=`w=300&h=200&fltr[]=wmi|/assets/images/wm.png|*|25|0|0|0`]]" />
Image is a TV that is used in the MIGX TV to open a filesystem location using a media source so that the admins cannot see the site tree.
Im wondering if instead of [+image] it should be the name of the TV that is used to link to it, however its been so long since using MODx i cannot quite remember exactly the correct syntax for it.
Any help would be appreciated, im sure its something really simple that im missing but another pair of eyes would be helpful.
Many thanks
EDIT: I have just realised that the carousel tv cannot be accessed by the MIGxdb as its never used, its a database field that needs to be parsed with the MIGx TV json string within it and I think i have a solution
